Lucy Turner inherited the wanderlust gene from her father. For more years than she will admit, Lucy has traveled the world one to two weeks at a time while working. Now she has taken early retirement, to focus more of her time and energy on travel. Lucy emphasizes this is early retirement, and despite what some members of her family say, she is most definitely not old.
“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.”
Mark Twain, Innocents Abroad
